 3M FR-M40 Full Facepiece Military-Style Respirators (Gas Masks)WE ARE NOT TAKING ORDERS OR BACK ORDERS FOR THIS ITEM AT THIS TIME. This facepiece has been NIOSH-approved with the 3M™ Canister FR-C2A1 for acid gases (including chlorine), CN, CS, and P100 particulate filter. The FR-C2A1 canister meets military specifications MIL-C-51560 and EA-C-1704. The FR-M40 Full Facepiece Respirator has the capability to mount a single FR-C2A1 DIN threaded canister on either the right or left side.
The FR-M40 comes with several unique design features suited for first responders. The silicone allows for excellent fit testing results and maximum comfort while the optional butyl rubber second skin protects the facepiece increasing respirator life and decreasing decontamination costs. A butyl coated nylon hood covers the head and neck and is easily donned to add additional protection against chemical agents and meets MIL-SPEC-C-51251. An internal drinking device permits the user to replenish fluids without having to remove the mask. A dual eyepiece format permits the respirator to easily interface with optics and to fold for storage. FR-M40 accessories include: clear and gray eyepiece outserts, exhalation valve, inhalation valve kit and spectacle kit. The FR-M40 fits into a storage bag/carrying pouch with strap (item #529-03-66).
RESPIRATORS WILL NOT WORK WITH BEARDS. MEN MUST SHAVE IN ORDER FOR RESPIRATORS TO HAVE A PROPER SEAL AND WORK EFFECTIVELY.

 FR-C2A1 Cartridges for FR-M40 Facepiece Military-Style RespiratorsWE ARE NOT TAKING ORDERS OR BACK ORDERS FOR THIS PRODUCT AT THIS TIME. The 3M™ Canister FR-C2A1 is designed to reduce exposure to chemical and biological warfare agents. Used by the United States Military. NIOSH approved with the 3M™ Full Facepiece Respirator FR-M40 for acid gases, CN, CS and P100 particulate.
The FR-C2A1 Canister contains both a carbon bed and particulate filter. As a particulate filter, it is tested to be at least 99.95% efficient against a 0.3 mm MMAD (Mass Median Aerodynamic Diameter) aerosol challenge at 32 L/min. The carbon is tested with hydrogen cyanide, cyanogen chloride, phosgene and the nerve agent simulant dimethyl methylphosphonate to specifications MIL-C-51560 and EA-C-1704.
The FR-C2A1 Canister can filter particulates and adsorb a wide range of chemical and warfare agents: nerve agents - tabun (GA), sarin (GB), soman (GD), VX; mustard agents - H, HD, L; tear agents - CN, CS, OC; blood agents - hydrogen cyanide (AC), cyanogen chloride (CK), arsine (SA); choking agents - chlorine, phosgene, chloropicrin (PS), and diphenylchloroarsine (DA).
The FR-C2A1 Canister is designed to help provide respiratory protection against certain airborne contaminants when used in accordance with all use and limitation instructions and applicable safety and health regulations.
Note: There is no NIOSH-approval schedule for chemical or biological warfare agents. This canister is NIOSH-approved for acid gases (sulfur dioxide, chlorine, hydrogen chloride), CN, CS, and P100 particulate.
