Question: Will N-DEX or other Best Gloves protect from Anthrax exposure?

Answer: They will protect the skin exposure route only, of course. They will not provide protection from inhalation of Anthrax. I would point any such questions immediately to our Bacteriophage Phi-X 174 test data that was done on Blood borne Pathogens. The testing we performed is a biological test for something as small as a virus. Viruses are NOT the same thing as bacteria. The Bacteriolphage Phi-X 174 virus is the smallest known virus (0.027 micrometers in size), Anthrax on the other hand, is a spore forming bacterium named Bacillus anthracis (Anthrax) and is about 500 micrometers in size, which is 18,000 times larger than Bacteriophage Phi-X 174.

We have not tested Anthrax, but the model virus data, which adheres to ASTM F 1671 "Standard Test Method for Resistance of Materials Used in Protective Clothing to Penetration by Blood-Borne Pathogens Using Phi-X 174 Bacteriophage Penetration as a Test System."

The pathogenic testing we have done on N-DEX is for a biological entity that is thousands of times smaller than the Anthrax bacterium. So, it makes sense that if the glove protects from viral penetration to Phi-X 174, then the Anthrax Bacteria would not penetrate.
