Baileigh’s line of pivot style semi-automatic cold saws consists of three different versions to choose from (please note we also provide vertical column semi-automatic cold saws as well). Our machines range from an 11” up to a 14” blade size and can cut ferrous and non-ferrous materials depending on the model.
This is a heavy duty semi-automatic cold saw line that is constructed with rigid castings, industrial grade motors and gearboxes to work in small to very heavily worked environments. Each machine is considered semi-automatic that would be suggested for medium to higher production runs. To run this machine simply press the foot pedal that engages clamping of the material, starting the saw blade and coolant, and engages the cutting head through the material. When through the clamp opens, the blade and coolant stop, and the head will return to the home position.
This semi automatic cold saw line has a self centering vise that allows for extended blade life compared to solid back jaw models. As standard the machines come with an industrial grade air over hydraulic feed system, large coolant reservoirs, pneumatic vices, and metered stop rods for repeatability.
This heavy duty line of metal sawing machines has been designed and built with quality in mind to last for several decades in the most demanding fabrication and machine shops. These cutting machines offer very high tolerance cuts every time that don’t require further finishing or facing. Each SA cold saw can miter left or right and come in Ferrous and Non-Ferrous versions depending on the applications. Canvas framework, marine products, furniture, and many more products can be made in fairly large runs with any of these models depending on the specifications at hand.
