Stone Sealer #5 is a reactive silicone polymer in odorless mineral spirits that impregnates the stone to form a "wet look" protective barrier on all types of interior and exterior stone surfaces including marble, granite, slate, travertine, limestone and agglomerates. It is absorbed into the interior of the stone surface where it acts as a repellant to prevent damage while allowing the stone to breath and release moisture vapors. This provides the stone with protection against water and oil based stains, household acids and alkalis, and the formation of mold and mildew growth all of which can cause discoloration and staining.
